Sometimes players get so worked up during a match, they make a fuss for no reason. In 2009, British star Andy Murray went into volcano mode when an umpire went to check a line call during a semi-final match at the Monte Carlo Masters against Russian Nikolay Davydenko. Even though the umpire ruled the ball out, Murray thought he was pointing to the wrong ball mark and freaked. “No way! Oh my God!” he yelled, whirling around and putting his hand to his forehead. “Andy, it’s this one,” the umpire said. “No it’s not! The ball came in this direction! It’s right there!” Murray shouted. The umpire reassured him that the “ball is out” but Murray had trouble calming down. Even his opponent Davydenko couldn’t help but crack a wry smile at the outburst. Murray went on to win the match in straight sets.
