He’s known for his impeccable control while zooming around the NASCAR track, but in 2006, racer Jimmie Johnson couldn’t manage the same control of a golf cart. It probably didn’t help that he was riding on top of the cart. During a celebrity golf tournament in Florida, he admitted he was “horsing around” when the cart’s driver hit a bump and sent Johnson flying off the roof, leaving his wrist broken upon landing. He hurt his non-shifting hand but was kept out of racing for four weeks.
