First round of 1989 playoffs
Pity poor Craig Ehlo. In the late 1980s and early ’90s, Ehlo was Jordan’s favorite prey; the All-Star feasted on the blond Cleveland Cavaliers guard whenever the two met on court. Ehlo’s darkest moment: Game 5 of the first round of the 1989 playoffs. The Bulls, playing the favored Cavaliers on the road, trailed Cleveland by a point with three seconds left. Off an inbounds play, Jordan took two dribbles to his left, elevated at the foul line and hit a double-clutch game winner over Ehlo at the buzzer. As the arena fell silent, Jordan pumped his first three times before being mobbed by his teammates. Ehlo just sunk to the ground.
