A woman jumped from the third deck of the Oakland Coliseum on Sunday during a game between the Oakland Raiders and the Tennessee Titans, critically injuring the man who tried to catch her.
The Alameda County Sheriff’s Office has said that a woman jumped from the third deck of the stadium, in a section that was closed to the public. A man who was walking along the concourse below saw the woman jump and tried to catch her and was critically injured.
A sheriff’s spokesman told San Francisco’s ABC 7 that the man “100% saved her life,” and that they believe the woman jumped intentionally. According to the Los Angeles Times, both were taken to the hospital with critical injuries, and the woman was in intensive care on Sunday night.
