The eyes have it: Bob Costas will return to NBC’s Olympic broadcast on Monday night.
USA Today reports that the broadcaster may have finally won a very public battle with an eye infection that had him donning hipster glasses, knocking back shots of vodka and finally going on medical leave. It marked his first absence from an Olympic broadcast since 1998.
NBC tweeted a picture of Costas back in the anchor’s chair, prepping for Monday’s broadcast, with no glasses in sight.
