The Lamoureux twins, Jocelyne and Monique, grew up playing hockey on a frozen pond in Grand Forks, North Dakota, against four older brothers. Big bros spared no mercy, teaching their sisters toughness: when they competed against boys growing up, the twins were often the most physical players on the ice. Now, hockey’s twin enforcers have their eyes set on hockey gold, and arch-rival Canada, who defeated the U.S. in the Olympic final in Vancouver. During a pre-Olympic exhibition tour, the Lamoureuxs sparked two brawls with their neighbors up north.
