Former governor of Alaska Sarah Palin will host an unscripted TV show on the Sportsman channel on the people, places, and pastimes of America’s outdoors culture, called “Amazing America with Sarah Palin,” according to a Sportsman Channel press release. The show will air in April 2014.

“I’m excited to help shine a light on all the great American sportsmen and women in the country who live the outdoors lifestyle,” Palin said in the  release.  The show will serve as the first part of the network’s “Red, Wild, & Blue America” programming, which is billed as “where the American Spirit and the Great Outdoors are celebrated in equal measure.”

Palin previously starred in a reality television series for TLC, which aired from November 2010 until Jan. 2011.
