An NFL fan fell from the upper deck of the Buffalo Bills’ Ralph Wilson Stadium on Sunday, landing on another fan on the deck below.
The incident happened during the Bills’ game against the New York Jets. Buffalo’s WGRZ reports that a Bills’ fan fell from the 300-level deck and landed on another fan on the 200-level. CBS, which was broadcasting the game, inadvertently aired the fall in a wide shot of the stadium:
The fan who fell appeared to have been trying to slide down the railing of the upper deck before plummeting to the lower level. According to WGRZ, both fans were treated at the stadium and taken to the hospital for observation. AP reports that the man who fell sustained a shoulder injury, while the fan on the lower deck sustained a head injury.
