The Los Angeles Dodgers’ left-handed pitcher Clayton Kershaw, 25, took home his second Cy Young award for the National League Wednesday. Max Scherzer, 28, won the award, baseball’s top honor for pitchers, in the American League.

Scherzer’s .875 winning percentage at season’s end was the best in major league baseball since Cliff Lee finished with .880 for the Cleveland Indians in 2008, USA Today reports. Kershaw came in second in voting for the award last year, preventing him from making a three-year Cy Young sweep.
