Cornell University’s entire Big Red lacrosse team has been placed on temporary suspension over an alleged hazing incident, USA Today reports.

The hazing, which is alleged to have taken place on September 13, is reported to have included coerced consumption of alcohol by underage freshmen, according to a Cornell press officer quoted by USA today.

The team went 14-4 last season, losing in the NCAA semifinals to Duke, which went on to win the national championship. Big Red had been scheduled to play the Iroquois National Team in an exhibition game September 28.
