According to the Denver Post, police have taken several people into custody for question regarding the incident. One person was reportedly in critical condition and was being treated along with the other injured parties at local hospitals.

Steve Warneke, a Denver police spokesman said reports of the violence came in around 9:55 when cops broke up a large fight in the lot, just west of the stadium. It is unclear whether or not the fight was related to the game, or how it started, the Post reported.

“This was a very chaotic scene,” said Warneke. “There’s lots of witnesses, we’re gonna be interviewing witnesses throughout the night to determine what precipitated this event. We’re not sure what led up to this .”

In a statement, Stadium Management Company, which runs the facility said they were aware of the incident and that they “are currently working with authorities to gather more information. It is also unclear how many people were involved in the fight, which began about a half hour after the Broncos 27-20 loss to the Chargers.
