When a game is named after a little-known family pub chain with outlets in only 23 states (and one too many apostrophes), perhaps it’s a sign that the college bowl system has hit rock bottom? On Dec. 21 Louisvillle beat Southern Mississippi, 31-28, in the Beef ‘O’ Brady’s Bowl, played in St. Petersburg, Fla. The game’s announced attendance, 20,017, was the lowest for any bowl game in five years.
I am with you on this one Ron. I love watching the bowl games every year even if they have odd names. I just love watching football no matter who is playing. There is always a good spirit of competition in the game that makes me happy.
I love the bowl games no matter how ridiculous some of the names are. It's the best time of the year. I can't get enough college football during the holidays. -Ron Johnson | http://www.alaskanautocenter.com/services
That is one of the more interesting names. I have never heard of it before. I almost wish I enjoyed watching sports.
