Ray Floyd took a four-stroke lead into the final round of the ’90 tournament. But a three-putt bogey on 17 dropped him into a tie. Then, on the second playoff hole, Floyd hit a 7-iron into a blue pond that protects the green. Nick Faldo parred the hole, and won his second straight championship. “The pressure basically got to me,” said Floyd, the 1976 Masters winner who, at 47, was trying to become the oldest player to take the Green Jacket. “Isn’t that choking?”
